Cabinetry and doors, built the way they used to be. Designed the way they should be.

Custom kitchens, interior doors, built-ins, and furniture — modeled to the millimeter before a single board is cut, then built and installed by hand.

Who we are

A working shop where precision software meets sawdust.

Stone Woodworking & Design builds custom cabinetry and casework for homes across southern Idaho — from full kitchens and pantries to one-of-a-kind doors, mudroom built-ins, and furniture.

Every job is modeled completely in professional design software before production. That means what you approve is what gets built: exact sizes, real materials, no surprises at install.

Our Work

Real jobs, photographed in real houses. Filter by what you're dreaming about.

How it works

Six steps. No seams for errors to slip through.

Most rework in this trade comes from small human errors between steps — a measurement retyped wrong, a spec that never made it to the saw. We've rebuilt our whole process around eliminating those seams.

01

Tell us about it

Share your project below — rooms, style, finish, and photos of your space. Takes about five minutes.

02

Design

We model your project completely — every cabinet, every door, every dimension — and you review real drawings of your actual space.

03

Firm quote

One price, computed straight from the approved design. Not an estimate that grows later.

04

Contract & schedule

Clear scope, clear payment schedule, signed electronically. You'll always know what happens next.

05

Build

The approved model drives our machines directly; craftsmen do the rest. What was designed is what gets cut.

06

Install

Our own crew installs, adjusts, and walks the job with you. One-year warranty on our work.

Why we're different: our design and paperwork run on an AI-driven system we built ourselves — so our people spend their hours at the bench, not at a keyboard, and the details never get lost in translation. You'll soon be able to start your design conversation with it right here on this page.

The shop

People build. Technology keeps them honest.

We're a small crew in Mountain Home, Idaho, doing work we're proud to put our name on — face frame or frameless, painted, stained, or clear-coated, traditional or modern.

Owner Ken Stone runs every design personally. The shop pairs CNC precision with hand fitting and finishing, and we install our own work.
